What types of insulated bottles AND cans can be carried in a bottle bag or cases ?

The bottle bag and cases can carry and protect 500ml insulated bottles and cans. 

Is there a difference between the bottle bag with strap and the Bottle case ?

The only difference is that the black bag, part number A-2292, has a strap for hanging the bag containing the water bottle. This is compatible with all other pouches. The strap is not currently available as a spare part.
