We are thrilled to announce that our brand, Les Artistes Paris, has officially achieved B Corp certification. This is an important milestone for us and a testament to our commitment.
B Corp certification is awarded to companies that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
This means that as a B Corp certified company, Les Artistes Paris is committed to having a positive impact on society and the environment, not just generating revenue.
We believe that businesses have a responsibility to use their resources and influence to create a better world. This certification is a way for us to fulfill that responsibility and a reminder that we must continue to strive to make ethical and sustainable choices in everything we do.
We are proud of this achievement and hope it will inspire other companies to follow our lead.

Les Artistes Paris' Journey
Les Artistes Paris has always had an interest in transforming the business into a mission-driven company.
What is a mission-driven company? According to the Youmatter website, a mission-driven company is a business or commercial company that includes a social or environmental objective in its statutes. This means that the company officially gives itself a mission that aims at the general interest (for example: having a reduced or even positive environmental impact).
This change has intensified since 2021, the year that marks our entry as a member of the 1% for the Planet network.
As a reminder, this network allows small and large companies to donate 1% of their turnover to environmental organizations in order to finance their projects to protect the planet.
Les Artistes Paris is a company that has always had the will to improve itself to become better in the design of its products, in the service it offers, in the management of its production or in the relations maintained with its collaborators.
On the way to certification
2020: Implementation of several internal CSR objectives + Restrictions and containment related to the Covid-19 crisis
2021 : Les Artistes Paris registers for Bcorp certification and decides to change company statutes to become a mission-based company + Les Artistes Paris continues to make progress in responding to the organization's disclosure questionnaire information
2022 : Bcorp organization announcement > file is put on hold due to high demand + Exchange with an accredited analyst and a verification report of the answers given to the questionnaire is done
January 2023 : Validation and obtaining of the Bcorp certification

The sustainable continuation
It is all very well to obtain this certification, but what are the next steps?
The team has a real desire to make its professional and private customers aware of what Bcorp certification means. Many employees are still unaware of what the certification represents and what means are put in place to progress in this direction.
In addition, we want to continue to improve internally on our CSR (Social, Environmental and Societal) initiatives and our 2020 goals. We are continually looking to reduce our carbon footprint.
Indeed, we would like to learn about organizations that help calculate our carbon footprint in order to reduce it as much as possible and make a difference in this area.

We would like to participate more in events, workshops, webinars that could provoke meetings with associations and/or companies that operate in order to create this necessary and more than urgent change for our planet.
